Library Board
The Avalon Public Library Board help manage the business, property, affairs, rules, policies, and activities of the library.
The Library Board will be composed of 5-9 voting members. Five members must be residents of the Borough of Avalon, one member must be a member of the Avalon Council, and three additional at-large board members who may be residents of communities outside of the Borough of Avalon.
All open board positions will be posted on the library’s website, social media, and throughout community publications. All members must be vetted and approved by a majority vote of the current members of the Library Board.
