50 Book Challenge

Challenge yourself to read 50 books in one year! Avalon and Andrew Bayne Memorial Library are joining forces to offer a prize to anyone who reads 50 books between 1/1/2018 and 12/31/2018. Anyone who completes the challenge will also be entered into a drawing for the grand prize. Eligible reading material includes all adult fiction and non-fiction (print, audiobooks, and ebooks), graphic novels, and young adult books. Magazines, newspapers, and children’s books do not qualify. Sign up at either library and pick up a book log.

Advanced Directive & Living Will Workshop

Thursday, December 7 at 2:00 PM – Conference Room (Downstairs)

An Advance Directive is a written statement of a person’s wishes regarding medical treatment, often including a living will, made to ensure those wishes are carried out should the person be unable to communicate them to a doctor.

Join representatives from Bethany Hospice as we navigate through your options while planning your future.

Light refreshments will be provided.
