With programs for kids, teens, and adults, make summer reading a family affair!  Books, comics/graphic novels, magazines, and audio books all count toward your reading time.

The children’s theme (for age 0-grade 5) this year is Every Hero Has a Story.  We will offer a number of programs involving both superheroes and real-life heroes, including special guests at storytime and a monthly superhero science program .

Hey, teens!  Did you know that we’re one of 100 libraries in the entire country to be given a set of this year’s 25 Teens’ Top 10 nominees?  Come to the library today and check out our new selections.  Voting for the Top 10 is open to all teens in the US.  Go here to choose your favorites.
Here’s a video of the 25 nominees.

Or check out the PDF.

We’d love print reviews, book trailers, comics, or anything else you create about these nominees!    In order for us to showcase your work, we need a parental consent form.  Bring the form and any creations to the front desk.  We can’t wait to see what you think!

Don’t go in the library!

vashta naradaWe’re sorry to say that tonight’s Doctor Who party has been rescheduled.  The Doctor needs time to adjust to his new incarnation and hopes to arrive in the fall.  Let’s hope we’re safe from the Vasha Narada until then!
