With programs for kids, teens, and adults, make summer reading a family affair!  Books, comics/graphic novels, magazines, and audio books all count toward your reading time.

The children’s theme (for age 0-grade 5) this year is Every Hero Has a Story.  We will offer a number of programs involving both superheroes and real-life heroes, including special guests at storytime and a monthly superhero science program .

For every 15 minutes read (whether as a read-to-me or independent reader), color one of the icons on the reading log.

2 hours = 1 raffle ticket

Completed log = small prize

The teen theme (for grades 6-12) is Unmask.  We will offer monthly teen programming related to comics and superheroes.

For each hour read, check a box on the reading log.

2 hours = 1 raffle ticket

Completed log = small prize

The theme for adults is Escape the Ordinary.  Some of our book clubs may be reading titles related to the theme (TBA).

For each book read, write the title on the reading log.

1 book = 1 raffle ticket

3 books = small prize

You may bring in your reading logs at any time to receive the prizes and/or tickets you have earned as of that date.  A staff member will highlight or initial your log.

All logs are due by closing time on Saturday, August 8!

All prize drawings will take place on Saturday, August 15 at 1 PM at our Wrap-up Party featuring the Ice Queen and 6 Big Heroes!
