350+ blocks, people figurines, plastic animals, and vehicles provided through a generous Block Party Grant from the State Library of PA.

Each program concludes with a story.

For ages 3-6.

50 Book Challenge

Challenge yourself to read 50 books in one year! Avalon and Andrew Bayne Memorial Library are joining forces to offer a prize to anyone who reads 50 books between 1/1/2018 and 12/31/2018. Anyone who completes the challenge will also be entered into a drawing for the grand prize. Eligible reading material includes all adult fiction and non-fiction (print, audiobooks, and ebooks), graphic novels, and young adult books. Magazines, newspapers, and children’s books do not qualify. Sign up at either library and pick up a book log.

Write a 400 word story about a pair of mittens.

Write a story about a mug of hot chocolate that is never empty.

January 25 is a Free Write.
